Abstract
2013 International conference on Advanced Technology and Computer (ICATC 2013)will be held in Gwangju, Korea during September 4-6, 2013. The aim objective of ICATC 2013 is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Advanced Technolgoy and Computer Science . The 7th International Symposium on Digital Forensics and Information Security (DFIS-13)

Abstract
Digital Forensics and Information Security (DFIS) are key elements for the next generation communication and networking environments where all applications and services are focused on users. In addition, the DFIS has emerged rapidly an exciting new paradigm to provide reliable and comfortable life services. Furthermore, the benefits of DFIS will only be realized if security issues can be appropriately addressed. Specially, forensics for DFIS is very important in the security fields. This workshop is intended to foster state-of-the-art research Digital Forensics and Information Security in the area of DFIS including information and communication technologies, law, social sciences and business administration.
The DFIS-13 is the next event in a series of highly successful the 6th International Symposium on Digital Forensics and Information Security (DFIS-12, Canada, 2012), which was the next extended event of the International Workshop on Forensics for Future Generation Communication environments : F2GC-11 (Loutraki, Greece), F2GC-10 (Cebu, Philippines), F2GC-09 (Jeju , Korea), F2GC-08 (Sanya, China), F2GC-09 (Jeju , Korea). Papers presented in the DFIS-13 will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (Indexed by EI & SCOPUS).

The 2013 International Workshop on Social Computing, Network, and Services (SocialComNet 2013)

Abstract
Recently, social computing and networking has been driving dramatic evolution in the way people communicate and interact with each other, attracting great attention from the research community as well as the business world. Social computing not only includes Web 2.0 elements such as blogs, twitter, and wikis, etc, but also stands for a collection of the technologies that gather, process, compute, and visualize social information and the studies that model and analyze dynamics of participants in social networks.
With the advent of the social computing era, SocialComNet-2013 aims at reporting the most recent progresses, trends, and concerns in this rapidly growing area. This workshop will provide a forum for participants from the computing and social science communities and publish state-of-art research papers. Furthermore, we expect that the workshop and its publications will trigger related research and technology innovation in this important subject.

Biological Information Technology Convergence (BITC-2013)

Abstract
For the development and evaluation of new biomedical devices, in vitro biological systems, such as isolated cells, tissues or isolated organs, are useful in pre-clinical research. However in vitro systems are nonphysiological, therefore in vivo biological systems using live animals are necessary to study how developed devices behave under clinical or pathophysiological conditions. Even though small animals (e.g.,mice, rats, gerbils) are often more cost-effective, and allow for relatively simpler management, they are quite different in terms of anatomy and functional aspects compared to the human. On the other hand, large animals (e.g., cats, dogs, pigs, sheep, and monkeys) are structurally and functionally similar to the human. In addition, the size of large animals is suitable for testing human medical devices. This workshop will provide a good opportunity for researchers to know and discuss what kinds of animal models have been developed and the application of models in biomedical research.

The 2013 International Workshop on Cloud Enhanced Information Fusion (CloudFusion-2013)

Abstract
Recent advances in cloud computing pose interesting capabilities for information fusion such as large data computations, retrieval, and storage. Information fusion filters and combines useful data for decision-making as mirrored by biological systems that combine visual information for object simultaneous tracking and identification (STID). With a cloud-enabled environment, a systems approach to information fusion can be conducted over vast amounts of entities in a database leveraging advances in information management, systems design, and real-time execution. CloudFusion'2013 will bring researchers and experts together to present and discuss the latest developments and technical solutions concerning various aspects of information/data fusion issues in a cloud computing environment. CloudFusion'2013 seeks original unpublished papers focusing on theoretical analysis, emerging applications, novel system architecture construction and design, experimental studies, and social impacts of advanced cloud enhanced information fusion technologies. Both review/survey papers and technical papers are encouraged.
